our first task was to create a type specimen for iPad screen
I chose to go with Palatino as i’ve felt it was calling out to me , i also wanted to do futura , i was torn between the two and went ahead and chose Palatino.

The sketches i made for finding a good inspiration for my main 3 type-specimens had given me insight on where to start to find my main 3 type-specimens .
with my talk with kyle I’ve learned to not using text warping to design my main 3 type-specimens as warping the text makes the type specimen’s lose its unique features.
I’ve decided to make blocks in at least one of my main 3 type specimens as to give more order to it.
