Reflection and summary of week 12 interaction design lecture:
This week, we received feedback on our Framer work and discussed the importance of alignment and spacing between images, choosing colors from the images in your website for website design, working on the HTML version of the Street of Crocodiles, and referring to the Material Design website for type scale and tokens.
Alignment and spacing between images:
It is important to make sure that images are aligned and spaced correctly in order to create a visually appealing and user-friendly design. In Framer, you can align images to the left, right, center, or justify. You can also adjust the spacing between images using the margin
and padding
properties.
Choosing colors from the images in your website for website design:
One way to create a cohesive design for your website is to choose colors from the images that you are using. This will help to tie the different elements of your website together and create a more unified look.
HTML version of the Street of Crocodiles:
We were also tasked with creating an HTML version of the Street of Crocodiles website. This is a good opportunity to practice our HTML skills and to learn how to create a website that is both responsive and accessible.
Material Design website for type scale and tokens:
The Material Design website is a great resource for learning about type scale and tokens. Type scale refers to the hierarchy of different font sizes on a web page. Tokens are reusable CSS variables that can be used to define common design elements, such as colors, fonts, and spacing.
Framer text typo:
There is a small text typo in the Framer work. The heading for the Luminous Mornings section is missing.
Final date of submissions:
The final date for submissions is January 4th. Please make sure that all of your work is completed and submitted by this date.
Link to Notion:
Please include a link to your Notion project in your submission.
